Galang Improves Bike Set-up and Skills-up at Superpole WorldSSP Portimao

A young potential rider fostered by Yamaha Racing Indonesia who is competing in the WorldSSP race at the Portimao-Portugal Circuit (1-3 October 2021), Galang Hendra Pratama continues to strive optimally to improve the performance of his Yamaha YZF-R6 bike and skill-up on tracks that have 4,592 km long and has 15 turns.
Intense communication took place with the Ten Kate Racing Yamaha team technicians, this was based on evaluations carried out in each first free practice session (FP1) and second free practice (FP2). Various changes to settings on the bike and input for him were made. There are several improvements in best time in FP2 where he recorded a time of 1 minute 46.974 seconds, while in FP1 he recorded a time of 1 minute 47.148 seconds.
In FP2, he was in 25th position with a time gap of 2.477 seconds from the leading position. Previously in FP1 he was in 26th position with a time gap of 2.960 seconds. So it's proven that he has made progress.
This has become an important asset for him to undergo the Superpole session or the first Race. The hope is that the rider from Yogyakarta can get a potential starting grid to get championship points.
The target to add points is an important mission to increase the position in WorldSSP standing points. Currently he is in 18th position in the standings with a total of 24 point.
